Administration and I.T.

Last but not least we have our open-plan office area which is controled by our senior veterinary nurse and practice manageress Susan Maclean. This is the area where we deal with pet-insurance claims, arrange referrals to specialists and meet with representatives from pharmaceutical firms.

The surgery has 6 linked computer terminals which in turn are linked to the two computer terminals at our Branch surgery in Crookfur. We have 5 telephone land lines connecting us to our client base and all members of staff have mobile telephones.

Our Branch Surgery is called Crookfur Pet Health Centre and is run by our receptionist Amanda Thom. There is a waiting room, a consulting room, and a holding area for pets which are to be transported to Pollokshaws for tests or operations. There are two telephone land lines and as mentioned before two computer terminals which are linked to Pollokshaws.
