At Pets’n’Vets we are entering a new, exciting chapter in our history! The Pets’n’Vets Family are an award-winning group of small animal practices that have been serving Glasgow and the surrounding areas for 50 years.

Our sites are based in Blantyre, Crookfur, Hairmyres, Queens Park, Queen Margaret Drive & Scotstoun. We are equally proud of our purpose-built Veterinary Roundhouse Hospital in Glasgow’s Southside, providing both primary care and referral surgery services year-round

You should be a minimum of 2 years qualified and confident in providing a high standard of patient care for a variety of medical and surgical cases. We have an OOH service provider, so this role is predominantly for the care of our own hospitalised patients.

The role is a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with the hours being 9pm-8am.

The Roundhouse offers a unique mix of first opinion and referral work including additional surgical cases such as laparoscopic surgery and orthopaedics, and medical workups such as ultrasound/CT/MRI/Endoscopy. This makes the Roundhouse a comfortable first step into hospital life and a home from home (with the best team!) if you are already hospital based.

Additionally, Pets’n’Vets are delighted to be part of Linnaeus with almost 180 sites across the UK and Ireland we are part of a growing community of like-minded veterinary professionals who are passionate about what they do. To add, Linnaeus is proud to be a part of the Mars Veterinary Health family of veterinary practices which extends our network of 2,500 veterinary clinics and hospitals in over 20 countries providing industry-leading pet care in over 25 million petcare visits every year.

We are proud of the career progression we can offer within the company.
