Meet The Team

You will always receive a warm welcome, first-class care and good value for money at our family-friendly Crookfur practice. Pets'n'Vets Family Partner Ivor Lough and Vet Nicola head up the team, with receptionists Amanda, Sophie and Gladys on hand to offer plenty of advice and support. We offer everything from puppy consultations to pet passport advice and are proud to be an RCVS Accredited Practice. You are always welcome to pop in for a chat and to meet the team!

***WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS***
We are now open again with strict distancing procedures (and lots of Perspex)!

We are able to offer:-
💼 Prescription Collections
🎥 PetsApp Video Consults
🏥 Some urgent and emergency care
🐶 🐱 🐰 Puppy, Kitten and Rabbit Vaccinations

We are working our way through overdue vaccinations - starting with the most overdue - we are calling those that were due at the beginning of lockdown and whose immunity will be waning. We have a list and we will work as fast as we can! Please be patient with us!
There are some changes to the way that we are working!

**You MUST have an appointment time or collection time booked to come to the practice**
**We will carry out as much as we can remotely - that means Video Consults rather than in-person consults wherever possible, and all payments taken over the phone (or on PetsApp) in advance of consults and medication collection
**You will be asked a series of questions before being able to attend the practice
**You will be asked to bring and wear a face covering if you do visit the practice
**You will not be able to enter the consulting room with your pet - we have a system that we hope will make sense to you!
**There are going to be lots of situations when we will book you in to our sister practice, the Roundhouse Hospital as we are only able to cover a limited range of things here.

Our Opening Hours are:
Monday 9-6 (closed 2.30-3.30 for lunch)
Tuesday 9-6 (closed 2.30-3.30 for lunch)
Wednesday 9-6 (closed 2.30-3.30 for lunch)
Thursday 9-6 (closed 2.30-3.30 for lunch)
Friday 9-2.30

At all other times our amazing colleagues at the Roundhouse will look after your pets.

We are so excited to be back! We can’t wait to speak to you all!

All the best and keep safe!

Amanda, Ivor and Lisa

Getting Here

We are in Newton Mearns on the Southside of Glasgow. If you are using a Sat Nav, please use the postcode G77 6TR.

We are one of the local community shops in Harvie Avenue and have plenty free parking for our practice at the shops.

Coming by bus? The local First Bus route "38 SimpliCITY" stops close to our practice.

If you're looking for somewhere to unwind after your visit, our team loves the nearby Dams to Darnley. Pollok Country Park is also only a 10 minute drive away from the practice and is the perfect place to go for a walk!
