The soft tissue surgery referrals service runs in conjunction with our highly experienced Emergency and Critical Care Team including the aftercare required following some surgeries with our nursing team available to provide round the clock care.
Our Soft Tissue Services include:
- Laparoscopic Surgeries including ovariectomy, liver biopsy and gastropexy
- Endocrine Surgery thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy
- ENT TECA and bulla osteotomy, middle ear polyps in cats, brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS), laryngeal paralysis and tracheal collapse.
- Gastrointestinal Oesophageal foreign body removal, subtotal colectomy, colorectal surgery, gastric dilatation volvulus.
- Hernia/Rupture Surgery Perineal, diaphragmatic and inguinal herniation.
- Oncological Bony and soft tissue tumours including mast cell tumour, soft tissue sarcomas and oral tumours (mandibulectomy/maxillectomy).
- Thoracic Pericardectomy, lung lobectomy, thymectomy, pyothorax.
- Urogenital Ectopic ureter and incontinence, prostatic disease and cryptorchidism.
- Vascular Portosystemic shunts and arteriovenous fistulae.
- Wound Management and Reconstruction Local/distant skin flaps and free skin grafting.
