Roundhouse Referrals provides a veterinary referral service from our Glasgow hospital which includes advanced Orthopeadic and Soft Tissue Surgery, delivered by a highly qualified and experienced team.
Who are the Roundhouse Referrals Team?
The Roundhouse Referral's team is headed up by Clinical Director Ross Allan. Ross qualified from Glasgow University in 2001 and gained his BSAVA Certificate in Small Animal Surgery and RCVS Advanced Practitioner status in 2014, opening the Roundhouse Veterinary Hospital in 2015.
Ross now leads the soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery team, concentrating on expanding access to orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical care throughout Scotland. Ross has assembled a small team of Post-Graduate Certificate holding vets, supporting Specialists, outstanding nurses and front of house staff to provide a personal referral service – what he calls “the open-door approach”.
“Fixed Price Fix”
Ross and his team understand that discussing the “probable cost” of referral care, is difficult for both referring vets and pet owners. We feel that this is unnecessary for many common procedures, and so to remove this doubt, many of our treatments are Fixed Price. This includes Orthopaedic: TPLO for Cruciate Disease and Patella Luxation surgery, Soft Tissue such as Brachycephalic Airway Surgery, Total Ear Canal Ablation and Perineal Hernia repair.
In the event that things don’t go as we hoped, we also treat the pet until recovery, at no extra charge to the owner, meaning Fixed Price, means Fixed Price.
