At award-winning Pets'n'Vets animal hospital in Scotland, we have further widened access to high value care by strengthening our expert team through the appointment of a vastly experienced veterinary surgeon.
Pets’n’Vets group has recruited Manos Tzimtzimis to join the Roundhouse Referrals surgical team at its Roundhouse Veterinary Hospital in Pollokshaws, Glasgow, which offers both soft tissue and orthopaedic Fixed Price procedures.
Manos, who graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece in 2011, is an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery.
He said: “My main aim is to maintain a busy caseload and provide a high-quality service for our pets, their owners and our referring vets.
“My main responsibilities are to work within the referral service, seeing orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical cases that are externally or internally referred to us.
“In time, I am looking forward to further expanding the range of services available and look forward to working with such a talented team of veterinary professionals and in such a well-equipped hospital.
“I will also be working with the emergency service and critical care unit at the hospital to provide urgent care and treatments.”
Pets’n’Vets clinical director Ross Allan said: “We are delighted to welcome Manos to the Pets’n’Vets family and we’re looking forward to him making an extremely valuable contribution.
“We have a fantastic team of vets, nurses, technicians and client care staff, who are proud to look after Glasgow’s pets.
“Our patients and clients have access to the highest quality of veterinary care and the arrival of Manos, an Advanced Practitioner, is a further example of our aim to deliver the very best service, treatment and high value care.”
Manos moved to the UK in 2015 and has gained valuable experience working in various practices all over the country, including an internship at the University of Glasgow.
