Sometimes pets tell us they are unwell by changing their behaviour – for example, a recent study undertaken at the University of Lincoln indicated that dogs with sore elbows were often reluctant to walk, whilst those with clinical issues in their bladder were more likely to break otherwise excellent housetraining and soil the carpet.
A thorough clinical exam with any necessary diagnostic testing is the best foundation for resolving behavioural problems. Once we know your pet is physically well, we can help with advice and resources to address the problem!
If you are concerned about changes in your pet’s behaviour, please don’t hesitate to call us at your local branch for an appointment.
